We close on the house in two weeks.
I’m excited and nervous and terrified and overwhelmed and hopeful. I just want it to be all over so that we can move in, exhale, and unpack. Then I want to buy kiddie pools and have people come over for ridiculous, impromptu pool parties all summer long.

Chapter 138: Sleep Deprivation.
So, today I had a deadline at work, and so I worked from home yesterday (my off day) from 6pm until 3am, and felt the sort of delirium that I used to feel when I was 19, working two jobs, and attending community college. I fell asleep at 3am and woke up at 7am and went to work until 5pm. I kept myself awake until now so that my sleep schedule wouldn’t be wonky anymore. I was just hugging...
